Why use Evans Taylor for my next position?

We are generalist recruiters with extensive experience gained over the years. As such, we cover broad sectors, levels and disciplines throughout the UK and overseas. Our core activity is focused on candidates earning between £40k and £120k but we operate comfortably and successfully both well above and below these levels. Equally, our client base is highly impressive where we have developed outstanding relationships.

Are you sector specific?

No, as a generalist, we cover broad disciplines including General Management, Finance, HR, Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, Commercial, Sales, Marketing etc across numerous sectors from public to private sectors including FMCG, Automotive, Aerospace, Food & Drink, Pharmaceutical, Oil & Gas, Renewables through to service sectors to name but a few.

Are my details confidential?

Absolutely. We adopt a professional code of ethics and under no circumstances will your CV be submitted to any organisation without your prior knowledge or permission. Once received, your CV will be reviewed in a professional and timely manner by a senior consultant and can then be reviewed against any current or future projects.

What type of clients do you work for?

Our clients are broad and range from global blue chip corporations to highly successful niche SME's. These are located throughout the UK, Europe and throughout the rest of the world. We develop close working relationships with clients and working alongside us, you will acknowledge first hand how strong these relationships are together with our knowledge on our client's culture, strategies and growth plans.

Are all your positions advertised?

Whilst several are advertised on our website and through appropriate websites and/or traditional press advertising, indeed many of our recruitment assignments are search related. This may involve highly confidential appointments which may in fact not be posted on this site. As such, we are interested in hearing from you if you are a high calibre upper quartile individual, looking to progress and develop your career.

Will you give me feedback?

Absolutely we will. Many candidates tell us that this sets us apart from many in the industry. We believe this is absolutely critical in enabling candidates to maximise their chances of success. It is only appropriate that if individuals are prepared to commit the time to try and develop their career through meeting us that we are able to give honest and professional advice both in terms of CV review, interview performance, techniques and coaching to ensure ongoing successful development - this is a given. However, this also means that you must expect to be challenged. You may not always hear what you want to hear but our feedback is always honest, confidential and to ensure that you maximise your chances of success.

Are you likely to find me a new position through Evans Taylor?

Clearly this depends on whether or not you are a high calibre candidate in your chosen field. However, it is important to remember that the market is competitive and it can sometimes take between 6 to 18 months to secure an appropriate role. However, unlike many in the industry, we will not simply send your CV out through spec'ing your CV to all and sundry and indeed, if we are not handling a particular role that matches your background, we would be pleased to hear from you and would endeavour to give you coaching and advice with regard to opportunities that you may be pursuing through other avenues.
